How do I set up a consultation?

If you are a professional please also contact us to discuss the referral.

 

How long are the sessions?

The assessment consultation is 90 minutes.  Subsequent therapy sessions are 50mins to one hour.

 

How often are the therapy sessions?

Effective therapy is set up on a weekly basis on the same day at the same time. Regular attendance promotes better outcomes.

 

Are the sessions confidential?

In general, the law protects the confidentiality of all communications between a client and a psychotherapist. Information is not disclosed unless discussed with you. We can explain this further during your initial assessment.

 

How long does therapy last?

It varies. We will create an individual therapy plan for you. Therapy sometimes lasts a few weeks and sometimes longer.
